Auditions: Musical Theatre Concert

Do you like to sing, act, and dance? Then this is an opportunity for you! The CTC is holding auditions for its first ever musical theater concert. The show will be devised based on the chosen performers, so stay tuned for more details.

Rehearsal & Performance Information:

Rehearsals will start during week 23 (early June) and will continue until week 26 (late June). After taking a summer break, rehearsals will resume during week 32 (early August). These rehearsals will be held 2-3 times per week, depending on the availability of the chosen performers.

The show opens on September 13 and runs until September 16 in Krudttønden (Serridslevvej 2, 2100 København Ø).

Audition Information:

Saturday, May 27 from 13:00 – 16:00
OR Sunday, May 28 from 13:00 – 16:00

Rådhusstræde 13
1466 København K

Based on your preferences, you will be assigned a time slot during one of the audition days. Each individual audition will take no more than 15-20 minutes, so you will not be required to stay for the whole day.

What to prepare:

Please come prepared with a 1-2 minute song of your choosing, either acapella or with a backing track. You can audition as a solo act or as part of a duet or group.

Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and bring a bottle of water. There is no need to prepare a monologue or dance, but try to show emotion and character through the song you choose to sing and prepare for some light dancing on the day.

How to sign up:

Please write to and provide the following information:

  • Name(s)
  • Date/time you would like to attend (you will be assigned a time slot)
  • Audition type (solo, duet, or group)
  • Voice type(s) (e.g. soprano, alto, tenor, bass)
  • Phone number and email

If you would like to audition but cannot attend either day, please contact us.

Want to get involved, but don’t want to perform?:

No problem! Send an email to if you’d like to assist backstage, or with lights, sound, PR, props, front of house or box office. We are always looking for creative people to help bring our shows to life!
