Pantomime Auditions: Sleeping Beauty

We hereby invite you to audition for Copenhagen Theatre Circle’s traditional English pantomime Sleeping Beauty!

Pantomime (informally panto) is a type of musical comedy stage production designed for family entertainment. Modern pantomime includes songs, slapstick comedy and dancing, employs gender-crossing actors, and combines topical humour with a story loosely based on a well-known fairy tale, in this case, Sleeping Beauty.

We are looking for actors of all ages with a sense of fun who enjoy high-energy theatre, singing, dancing, audience participation and even some cross-dressing! Even if you’ve never tried singing or dancing on stage, we’re looking for all kinds of talent!

Auditions will take place 17-21 September (more information below). If you wish to attend the auditions, please send an email to as soon as possible, stating which date and time you would prefer. If you can’t make any of the dates, do get in touch – we might be able to arrange something.

Performances are 17-27 January 2018 at Zangenbergs Teater in Copenhagen.
