The Queen’s New Border

The Queen’s New Border, a satire set on the border in Ireland as the reality of post-Brexit arrangements begins to bite. This is an original play written by a longtime CTC member, Alun Thomas. The story follows the construction of installations for the new border controls. As the project descends into farce, this play shines a light on more serious topics and personal struggles, touching on universal themes such as love, deception, football, murder, and Jaffa Cakes.
